Excellent service and food!!

Such a wonderful café! The portions are big and the food is delicious. My Denver omelette was perfection, the toast is nice and warm and buttery and the sausage links are BIG! We are from out of town but just found our new breakfast place in Payson!

Delicious as always! Why all that was huge and loaded with veggies. The sausage links are the best anywhere. All their breads are delicious. My sourdough toast was awesome and my daughter's french toast was delicious as well. We had great service. Didn't wait long for our food and my coffee cup was filled regularly.

A must eat place wide selection of food. Big portions, excellent service. You feel like a friend their.

Dont expect fancy. Do expect to wait but its worth it. I have never had anything bad here.

Fresh food from scratch. Big portions. Everything I have had there is amazing. The vibes and decor are fun. Small town, mom and pops kinda place. The breakfast burrito was great and the biscuits and gravy. The cinnamon rolls are massive and so good, but bring help!

The food was delicious, the service was fast, and the restaurant was clean. The portions were large, and the prices were great considering how much food you were getting. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I was honestly surprised when the food came out a lot faster than I thought it would.

Have eaten there several times, breakfast and lunch. Great staff, friendly and responsive. Owners, Mike & Rita are tremendous people and will frequent every time we are in town. A Colorado couple.

The food was great! Especially after spending a cold weekend in the forrest. There's just something about getting that hot meal and cup of coffee. Their coffee was great and fresh. My meal was hot, though my potatoes were not well done like I had requested. I was so hungry I ate them regardless. Next time I would try the biscuits and gravy. Had that as a side this day, and really enjoyed them.This place beats Denny's or IHop any day.

We go through Payson frequently but have never found a good place to eat. Decided to try this place and really enjoyed it. It may be out go to place going forward. Food was really good and stand is friendly and service oriented. Looking forward to our next visit!

Friendly, fast and delicious. Lager inside than what it seems. The huevos benedictos were amazing. Looks like the locals love this place and now I know why.

We stop here every time we drive through. Fun little diner with good food and friendly staff. Nothing fancy but definitely a comfortable place to eat. Bought a shirt there once and everyone comments on it.

Great food, very big portions. The Elvis French toast was amazing. Two adults would have a hard time finishing. Awesome people run the restaurant.

Killer breakfast. Be careful of the fresh baked rolls. You hear the price and it's like excuse me but then you see one and realize one will feed a family of 4-6. And taste great.

Had to wait exceptionally long time. Other people came after us got their food and finished before ours came and then one order was cold and got other order wrong. We did complain and management comped meal but would have rathered paid and got it right.

This is my go to Café for my morning breakfast. They have great portion sizes and their prices are perfect. The food has always been tasty. I have never left there hungry. Eating there is like eating at Grandma's house but better. This place is truly a gem!

I absolutely love this little quaint Cafe!! The food is amazing, and the staff is Uber friendly! I make it a point to stop there every time I go through Payson!!

This is a MUST stop when you are in Payson. I have been there several times for breakfast and lunch and the food was always excellent. Great service and reasonable prices.

The chef misinformed the waitress about the menu. The chicken was pre-battered and frozen, with very little meat on the bones. The burger was juicy. The salad was fresh. The waitress was friendly but unfamiliar with the menu.

Delicious food, fantastic service. Our waitress even gave us a brief history of the restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Very homey and warm environment in Payson, AZ. It's a place that you go to and remember over a lifetime. Breakfast is very tasty and satisfying. And they have the golf tee triangle jump game that brings back childhood memories. Don't miss out heading to Pinon Cafe! My friend and I were driving to Albuquerque from Phoenix and it was right along the way smack dab in the middle of the Tonto National Forest. Cool place to check out.

4/18/19I ate at Pinon Cafe in march of 2018.I was not impressed so that why 3 stars. Today I met the new owner he seemed good. So I will have to eat there again and update my review if warrented. Took some pics. Blessings, John

The food was good but none of the staff or cooks wore masks. It was heard that their manager chooses not to enforce the mandate and so they didnt need to wear them.

The food here is so delicious and the staff treats you like family. Highly recommend this place

The worst experience I have had!! I waited for 30 mins before they took my order. There were 8 servers and 4 tables. Three tables had not even had their order taken. My server was to busy eating her cake in front of the tables hungry and no service to be had. I would have given no stars if I could. What ever food was up it sat in the window for 30 mins. And not 1 of the 8 servers could help me.

Incredible hospitality, I don’t think I’ve ever had a dining experience where I’ve felt so welcomed and cared for as I did at Cafe Piñon. We went in to grab a cool drink with our kids after our car broke down across the way. Rita welcomed us and made the kids feel at home, she was positive, empathetic and helpful.I walked in Piñon Cafe hot, frazzled and cranky, and walked out refreshed and optimistic, thanks to the staff! This is definitely the place to go if you’re looking for good food & good vibes.

Terrible. Food was overcooked. Hollandaise was coagulated. The egg was not poached and runny, it was like a hard boiled egg. There was bass driven dub step coming from the kitchen and horrible florescent lights. Our waitress was constantly on her phone and never came by during the meal to refill out drinks. Pancakes were good.

It’s like home! We stopped on our way from Phoenix to the Crater and upon walking in we instantly felt comfortable. Told me wife, “I hope the food is as good!” Well the food wasn’t “as good”...it was better. And on top of great atmosphere and food the server was amazing. So...how does this story end? We stayed overnight in Flagstaff planning on hitting Sedona the next day but...yup...we drove back to the Pinon to have another great experience. Thank you Pinon!

Great little coffee shop excellent food and service. My go to place when I eat out. Would give it a 5 star rating if they had cold PBR on tap :).

The Pinon is a staple of Payson. Great service and food. Great main street old town Americana restaurant. They don't make em like this anymore. Stop and enjoy the home cooking. Don't forget to get a giant cinnamon roll!

Rustic, not old, and the food was great. Very well prepared and the dinning area was clean. The service was perfect.

The Staff was refreshingly friendly. The Redneck Bene was AMAZING. Cute decor as well...small and rustic

We had a great lunch here. The wait staff was extremely friendly and the chili bowl was quite tasty. We will be back for sure!

Cute roadside cafe. Warm & friendly. Hearty portions. With front parking and huge windows to keep an eye on your car. Lots of locals seem to like it too!

Great local place. Food was amazing, get the cinnamon roll, you won't be disappointed. Service was fantastic!
